Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MARKETEC TRANSPORT INC ("MARKETEC", "we", "us") handles information through this website and through our internal office software.
This website
This website is informational. It does not use cookies, advertising, tracking or analytics, and it has no forms that collect personal information. If you email us from a link on this site, your email is handled as described below.
Information you send us
Brokers, shippers and business contacts send us information such as load offers, rate confirmations, bills of lading, invoices and contact details. We use it only to quote, haul, document and bill freight, and to keep the business records the law requires. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.
Our office software and Google user data
MARKETEC uses its own internal office application, "Jarvis MARKETEC", which connects only to MARKETEC's own Google account. It is not offered to the public, and it does not access anyone else's Google account.
With the account owner's permission, the application uses Google Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets and Docs to:
- read business email such as load lists, rate confirmations, trip sheets, payment notices and bank alerts;
- prepare invoice email drafts and file business documents;
- keep the company's schedule and records up to date.
This data is processed on MARKETEC's own computer. Parts of it are sent only to the service providers needed to perform these tasks: an AI provider (Anthropic) that reads documents and emails for us, and Telegram, which delivers notifications to the owner's phone. Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train general-purpose AI models.
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Security and retention
We keep business records only as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and regulatory requirements. Access to our systems is limited to MARKETEC. The account owner can disconnect the application from Google at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
